Bah, we do not need to assassinate Phil's character to prove how much of a deadweight he truly is. The mere fact that he has been beaten by two d-list heroes and an ordinary civilian who gained super-powers speaks volume enough. Besides as I have pointed out before, Marvel cares about one goblin only and that's Norman Osborn and as long as Norman is top dog no other goblin will ever get equal footing. What will likely happen is that once Osborn returns to the spider-books, Phil will be kicked to the curb and be forgotten about once Slott leaves.
As for Kingsley, have you ever read a story with him a day in your life? Kingsley has faked his death before so there is no conclusive proof he is truly dead as we never saw the face of the goblin that was decapitated. Kingsley could have easily sent someone in his place that was killed so there is a chance he is still very much alive and manipulating things from behind the scenes.

Yes. That was one. The other Cassandra Cain. Changes? What changes? I've already fully accepted that the character is still alive in Slott's run and will be the next big villain after Ock.

I have to agree with you here. Like I said before, Slott is a tool and will give some irrelevant hyperbole to go around the question like Quesada tends to do. Besides, I am sure others have asked Slott the same question before and have not gotten the answer they want. Like I said, this is like trying to get answers from a politician about corruption chargers brought against them.

Chances are he won't give it to you and will just use the same response he did on the Outboard and say how much ASM is selling and will regurgitate his reasons for killing Kingsley and replacing him with Phil. Besides, I am pretty sure Quesada put a gag order on Slott to prevent him from talking about this matter any more than he needs to.
