Did you catch Tales Designed To Thrizzle with Q?

I loved that he had a houseboat that he took all the ladies back to.

I didn't even know what Tales Designed to Thrizzle was until I googled it just now.

Okay, back to my earlier point. This is an American version of this new BBC hit:

And a lot of press have been going on about Liu being a female Watson, but Joanne Woodward played one in the 1971 film They Might Be Giants.

As a big Sherlock Holmes fan, I find myself completely uninterested in this. Liu as Watson makes me think they're just trying too hard. I'll probably try an episode, though, if there's nothing else on TV in that time slot.

This thread has scant to none pictures of Lucy Lui wearing little to no clothing. CAT-SCRATCH!! HERALD!! I know she's not a buxom as you're used to posting but come on guys. I expect these things.

OMG an obscure film from 40 years ago did this too

the sad thing is, in the US, even if this is a total flop, it will be seen by more American viewers than watch Sherlock on Public television

AFAIR the plot for that movie was a little more layered, the Holmes character was delusional and his Watson was his female psychiatrist.

And Thor wasn't a modern update?
Maybe I am wrong, but I don't remember SHIELD, satellite dishes, or jets from the original JitM books.

And this is even worse, they not only changed the race of a fictional character that was "always described" the same way, bit also his gender.

'trying to hard'
