'Assassin's Creed 3' protagonist leaked? The first image of Assassin's Creed III has reportedly leaked ahead of Ubisoft's announcement. Kotaku received an email from a Best Buy employee containing what appears to be the game's new protagonist.
The image depicts an assassin wearing an eighteenth century military jacket and Native American leggings with the US Colonial flag in the background. The image supports rumors that the next game in the series will take place during the American Revolution.
For weapons, the assassin is shown holding a flintlock pistol and tomahawk, with a saber and second pistol on his waist and bow and arrows on his back.

The Best Buy informant also claimed that the game is due to be officially unveiled on March 5, and that there will be pre-order bonuses.
Love the Assassins Creed story
Hate the game.

I like the version in my post better. The outfit and how it differs from Edzio's is more clear

I'm still working on finishing the first one. I'm just loving running around the Middle East.

I wanted to buy the first one because the setting and the time period interested me but I heard the gameplay was pure shit so I started with the second one instead which was set in a time and place that I couldn't care less about but the reviews for it were much better. It turns out the gameplay on the second one was just as shitty and I regret ever buying it. Infamous' mechanics are everything Assassins Creed isn't

The only issue I have is doing combo kiils. I'm too quick on the attack button.

Infamous isn't supposed to be a stealth game. The problem is that Assassin's Creed isn't either.

Love the story.
The games are fun for a few days then get boring.

The designers once said that one of the goals with the series was to set them in overlooked and underused time periods which is a brilliant idea IMO.

The concept behind them is great. I just want better gameplay.

I only played the first one. I loved the story but the actual game play sucked. It was climb, dive fight, repeat. It was way to repetitive for me.

I haven't played the last two games but I am interested in this for the time period alone. Revolutionary America is a really fascinating place. If they include Boston, which I'd be shocked if they didn't, I'll be even more interested.
The thing with the games is I think Ubisoft overdoes it a bit. These games don't need to come out every year. The gameplay gets repetitive real fast and they make it worse by making the game an annual thing.
