Surely you can't be Sirius

Actually, I still have the XM package. :? Since I'm not a Stern worshiper, I can't see paying the money just to have that.

But I do feel that both companies screwed up before the merger by focusing too much on receivers instead of working with the likes of Sony, Panasonic, etc. on creating products that were able to receive the service at home (like a boombox) as opposed to having a receiver that you had to buy extra equipment if you wanted to be able to listen to it at home as well as in your car. Maybe you'd need to buy an antenna, but that would be it. No need for an extra docking station for the home.

do they have an iPhone app?

I had XM on a rental car, and I liked it, but not enough to pay.

You have to have a regular subscription, and then you pay like an additional $7 a month for internet service, which covers iPhone. I have Sirius in my car, it came as part of the radio, and it's great for traveling. I orginally got it for Stern, but also listen to Classic Rock, 60s, 70s, 80, New Wave, Elvis, Springsteen, Jazz, MSNBC, CNN, and NFL (they carry every game during the season). Just wish they included the NHL without having to pay the extra fee because it's on the XM side.

On the other hand, I hear less flotsam and jetsam on XM than I do with Pandora.

I wonder, how many people that pay for Sirius or XM also download music illegally?
