Murray’s Pomade update ..ok I’m not a fan of this stuff it’s too heavy and yet doesn’t keep my hair down ..then agian I really should have brought a comb here

I'm a barber and I also slick my hair back. While I do love Murrays for the price, its near impossible to wash out and off your hands.

People Suggesting royal crown should know in warm weather its useless. It falls down and is slimey. Its literally vasoline and olive oil. I use a tiny bit over my products to add shine.

These are the 2 i reccommend highly.. for a pomade, cock grease (silly i know. Rooster pun) is fantastic and has multiole hold levels

on my quest to find the best Pomade for me continues ! I bought some Murray’s (which I thought white people weren’t allowed to use…who knew?) this stuff is thick,it’s like putting glue in your hair,unlike the Axe and the Suave stuff I’ve used before the stuff sets quick meaning once it hit’s your follicles running a comb thru it is not easy…I don’t know how I feel about it so far I think it may be to extreme for me

If you get cock grease, much like murrays (but not quite as sticky) you need to get some in the palms of your hands and rub them together til its softer (there was no way of wording this that didn't sound gay!)

Layrite is soft already from the water base and will be easier to apply.same format, just less work and washes right out with water. Bad on rainy days. That's why i use both!

If you want extra shine (not.necessary but occasional) add royal crown and a tiny little bit, applied the same way. I cannot stress enough how little is needed. Too much will shit on your other products. Id say use them both solo awhile before bothering with R.C.

This shit is awful for my hair. I have extremely stubborn/kinky hair. I was doing a film shoot and the make up and hair artist brought this for my hair assuming it'd be good for all black people hair (and she never done hair for black people, apparently). Shit was terrible and it took us FOREVER to get it removed and had to do something else with my hair for the shoot.
