No, I am blaming individuals like yourself that want the govt. To subsidize every facet of your life. Condoms are only $10 at Walgreen's. I am sure you pikers could swing it

The only big tent I see is the one we will all have to live in thanks to all of Obama's debt he is running up

Is this a Jersey thing, or are you just taking your usual even tempered approach to things.

As everyone with a brain knows, there are 3 places where cuts need to be made: SS, Medicare and Defense.

We know that Dems won't cut the first two. The GOP won't cut any of them.

Cutting funding for the arts is like saying the best way to save the environment is by letting IG fertilize your lawn instead of using chemical fertilizer. It's all bullshit in the end.

I believe Republicans put forth proposals last year for the first two and the Senate blocked them.

Anyone with a brain will tell you that you should add $400 billion a year to spend when you already have 15 trillion hole.

Republicans aren't serious about cutting the deficit any more than Democrats are.

But projections show that in the next few years, the deficit will be dropping (I believe that starts in 2014.

You can't cut out that much money so quickly. Austerity causes recession, not growth.

And the projections do not show a smaller deficit. Obama 's last budget show $1 trillion a year for a decade

I don't believe it, it doesn't particulary make a lot of sense to me, but I'm not catholic. It literally affects me in no way what they believe or what they practice.

I do have a problem with the government telling businesses how they can offer benefits and spend their money.
