OMFG. I totally read your post in "Emperor Voice Mode," especially the way he said..."unnatural." That made it even funnier. :-D

What is it with DC and their inability to design good costumes for their magic based characters?
Zatana looks like a hooker
The Phantom Stranger dresses like Jack the Ripper
Wonder Woman looks like she belongs on Baywatch
The Hawkpeople? Blargh!

The only good one that comes to mind is Dr. Fate.

Hate the hood, but this is very "wait and see" for me. I can't imagine how they could make thing worse than the Marvel family after Countdown *shudder* and Final Crisis.
