So I have this new friend who is gay who lives in my building and he brought this fine-ass girl over to my place last Friday. This girl is actually really cool and I keep asking about her. He keeps avoid it and trying to make me feel bad for not finding this other chick who came over as attractive (too skinny). First he asked me why I don't like women, to which I replied that I haven't met one that I can really get into (no pun) and now he thinks because I didn't like the skinny chick I don't like any women. And truthfully, I don't talk about hot chicks with my gay friends because most of my gay friends get like my chick friends and start dissing the chick or whatever. And then I feel bad because I feel shallow

Why is he CBing? Is he mad that I like his friend or something? Is he being protective of her? Doesn't think I'm good enough? Does he think I'm going to be a dick and try to bone and bounce on this girl?

Plus he's a drama queen. He knows EVERYONE in our building (we have two towers in our building and he knows probably 80% of the people here) and he's beefing with half of them. So because of his beefing nature, I don't want to go behind his back. Usually with my straight homies I'd just tell them and they'd be like "yeah go for it" but he doesn't seem to be like that.

I don't think it takes a gay guy to sort this out. It sounds like he's brought you up with the first girl and she wasn't interested, but he knows the second girl is.

I mean, it sounds like he's trying to hook you up with someone who he knows is down and is trying to avoid telling you straight up that the other is not.
