I guess I'm the only one who likes the new costume and doesn't think it's bad.

Also for the record, I hope that Shazam is written as he was in YJ the cartoon. If he's anything like "Golly gee whiz" Captain Marvel he was from anytime before, it will be a shame.

So I am confused now. Will Billy be "Shazam" or will this other kid with glasses? Or, will they go even more ridiculous and turn him into that Captain Planet/Infinity-Man hybrid from Flashpoint?

Honestly, I just want a good Captain Marvel/Billy Batson story.

You would think that having ALL your characters go 90's-dark would be a bad idea. If you have that with SUperman and Apollo, then it would be cool to have a brighter hero in Captain Marvel.

But what do I know?

This. Captain Marvel/Shazam should be about optimism. The last thing that I want from a rebooted Captain Marvel/Billy Batson would be an angst-filled teenager that can turn into an insanely powerful superhero, just so that he can tell you that you could never understand him.
