How is the order of reading?
I mean, like the individual TPs where it was ordered chronologically?

its in the correct reading order
not 1-4 for each title, rather the order the books were published

There's something I never did... drink while reading. Sounds fun.

Is this story worth it? I've been thinking about picking this up for a few months (the trades, not the omnibus), but they're a bit pricy.

best Marvel event of the 90s and in the top three since I've been reading comics ~20 years

fuck...now I feel old

I drink once or twice a week, but never while I'm reading. Safety comes first.

I'm about halfway through the AoA Omnibus.

Fucking great.

The best Marvel "event" to date, IMO.

The only question that begs to be asked is why it was limited to just the X-books.

The 2nd volume of the traveler brings on more crazy to the storyline. At times its almost disjunction story telling, but it never stops being fun.

The main plot point seems to be taken from Neverending Story, but I'll excuse it because it could setup a good reunion story further down the line.

Loved the geek bff.

not in the Omnibus are 2 "Universe" books that explore what happened to Cap, FF, Spider-Man, ect
they were ok, but I don't think we are missing out by not having it collected

there were also two books that took place before AoA that showed the split between Jean, Wolvy, and the rest of the X-Men. Filing in some stuff with Gambit.

PS - all of the above is IIRC - its been awhile

Not the omnibus, the trades.

I also don't have a budjet to buy that book.

Oh, why did I think you were one of those guys who could spend 200 bucks a month on comic books?

Before I was married, my budget was arround 120€ / month, now I'm lucky to get to 50€ / month. Usually I spend 30/35€ / month.
