DLC options, IMO.

I just beat the Paragon ending. What the hell?

If the Arrival DLC from ME2 showed us one thing its that blowing up Mass Relays wipes out entire star systems. So if the Crucible destroyed them all in addition to the Reapers then the good choice wiped out a large chunk of the galaxy? Going to replay the last mission tomorrow and og with controlling the Reapers. Was the Illusive man right?

God I'm loving this game, I need to start doing some of the multiplayer stuff though.

Fucking Bioware....the explains why all my endings are the same but wih different colors despite filling up the war resources meter and having full paragon (spoilers)
http://gamepolitics.com/2012/03/06/mass ... ticipation

I did everything in the game to perfection but that wasn't enough it seems.

No, it appears all the endings are pretty much identical no matter what you do.

The only thing I've seen so far that I haven't liked in this game is the way the Journal is kept. Otherwise, this is GOTY and would likely still be so even if it came out last year, ahead of Skyrim and Arkham City for me.

Apparently if I had 100% multiplier then I'd have the ending where Shepherd survives.

I agree about GOTY though, while the ending is over complicated by the game mechanics, the road there was epic.

IGN has posted all the endings...

[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
...with a 5,000 Readiness rating, i.e., the best endings.

The only real differences are the Shepard animations and the color of the beam. There are storyline differences, but they are pretty much meaningless since you never see the results of your actions.

This isn't very Xbox Live friendly. I had a lot of trouble playing yesterday, freezing on loading screens and just blacking out.

I logged off Xbox Live and all the trouble stopped. Wasted like an hour before that. :x

I've picked up two members so far, EDI was pretty cool. I knew that chick's body would be a companion but I didn't put it together that it'd be EDI though.

I found a Matlock rifle on the mission at Grissom Academy, and that thing is fucking sweeeeet... accurate as all hell, and semi-automatic so I'm not just spraying shit everywhere and wasting ammo. Deals more damage than just about every other rifle I've seen, too.

adding a scope to the rifle that shoots beams and then putting the cryo ammo on it makes that thing beast.

Yeah I love using inferno ammo on that, the spectre pistol and the eviscerator shotgun...the build-up damage from each shot is huge. One pistol clip kills a brute, the shotgun destroys banshees and the rifle is perfect for taking on random enemies.

Actually, after taking some time to play around with different shotguns, I really like the Disciple. Added the accuracy mod to it and it's incredible...lightweight, good rate of fire, nice damage and it holds 4 in the chamber. Plus at level 1 it's a fraction better on all areas that the Eviscerator at level 5.

I don't use shotguns.

I'm pretty much strictly rifle, then if I run out of ammo the Shrukien or whatever it's called, or my pistol.

I'll use a sniper rifle if I ever sneak up on a group so I can get the drop on one or two of them right off the bat, but that's it.

I personally hate SMG's. My loadout is always a pistol, rifle, shotty and sniper rifle...SMG's are too weak and inaccurate for long range and for short range nothing beats a shotguns with accuracy.
