Aquaman is 9!

Marvel had better overall sales but it doesn't sound as impressive.

Fixed for accuracy.

DC is still coasting on a massive load of hype and yet, only books featuring major characters and writer Geoff Johns are doing that well, so it doesn't sound as impressive.

Marvel had the bigger market AND unit share yet still missed out on the top spot.

Haven't some retailers who had a 52 for $52 deal going on withdrawn that offer after the first 6 issues? That means the #7 sales should be intriguing.

Precisely, and this is the exact reason why I haven't gotten too caught up in the whole DC's sales are bad/good arguments up to now. The March sales are where we're really going to see where things stand post-Flashpoint.

Batman: The Dark Knight is at 6.

That tells me all I need to know about this still being about the hype.

That book is fucking garbage.

Let's face it. I like Aqua guy just fine. I got lots of his comics. But Johns is selling the book. In fact, as I've noted elsewhere, outside Johns and Morrison, and the books with the least changes (ie bat and GL books), DC is shedding readers at an alarming rate.

March is the month many retailers stopped the sales like many have stated here, and then April starts Avengers Vs. X-Men which already has 200,000 copies ordered..

Bitching bout DC is a futile effort. They will never go back to the old universe, which was more of a failure then this.

Yes, it's peaked but Nu52 is not going anywhere soon.

And Barry Allen and Bucky will never come back, either.

OH, WAIT!!

Hmmm...
What you supposedly see as a good thing for DC, you take as a negative when applied to Image...

Interesting...
