Ign (I know they're not the most reliable source) gave this 4 out of 5 stars.
They said the scripting is very tight and funny, and the actors do a great job.
Color me surprised because the preview I saw looked terrible.

Zombie Stephen J Cannell would be so repulsed by the 21 Jump Street movie preview. He wouldn't even try to go after Channing Tatum's brain. Which is good because Tatum doesn't have one.

I would watch it to see if Jonah Hill can make Channing Tatum's wack ass look good.

At least is not another movie based on an old police tv show starring Colin Farrel...which I suppose is a good thing...right?

Count your blessings. Hill and Tatum could have co-starred in T.J. Hooker.

I'm thinking of seeing it this weekend actually. It looks funny. The only thing I'm worried it about is if I've already seen all the funny parts in the previews.

I pray to all mighty divine forces of the universe that there are no Hollywood producers reading this post.

No. It's not good.
I haven't seen it, but I'm confident about that statement.
The witness said Mr Brown then called out to Ms Hay's adult daughter: "Look at this, I'm tittie-f***ing your mother!".

They are no where near the power house duo that Shatner and Zmed were.

I do not recall 21 Jump Street being a comedy series. Had some...light-hearted moments, I guess...but the previews for the movie all look like they are played for laughs.

Hill Causes Airport Scare After 21 Jump Street Shoot
11 hours ago | WENN | See recent WENN news »
Actor Jonah Hill was recently stopped by airport security agents while making his way to New York - because he was still covered in explosive material from the 21 Jump Street set.
The Superbad funnyman was in Louisiana wrapping up an action scene with co-star Channing Tatum when he realised he was running short on time and in danger of missing his flight to the Big Apple.
Hill then rushed to the airport where he was promptly whisked away for questioning by Transportation Security Administration officials, who found explosive residue in his hair.
He says, "I was on set all night shooting this action scene with Channing and I had to go fly back to New York. And I go to the airport and they were like, 'Sir, we need to pull you in a back room and examine you.' And I'm like, 'What?'
"And apparently, because we're shooting guns and there's all these action scenes, I had explosive matter from my head to my toe and they thought I was a terrorist and I was bringing explosive matter onto the plane.
"It was like two hours (that) I was stuck in the room! And then finally one of the guys in the room was like, 'Hey, that's Jonah Hill! He's an actor, he's not a terrorist!' And they let me go." http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1706767/news
