As awesome as that would be no. They are rebooting a title at issue at 145ish, I think. X-treme X-men only had 46 issues.

Personally I like the idea of X-treme making a come back. Just lets not put CC back on it. He should continue his exile.

Oh come on Marvel, there are already 3 unnecessary X-Men books (Legacy, Astonishing and plain ol' X-Men), do we really need another? Let's hope that this is just a re-titling of one of those books.

They are actually starting the title that you are referring to at #175, which really makes me want to know what previous Marvel title(s) ended at #174.

As far as X-Treme X-Men is concerned, I will have to wait to see the team line-up as well as the creative team. I liked the original run of X-Treme X-Men from time to time but there was some really bad stuff in there that I hated. The Storm gladiator stuff was so bad that I honestly lumped it in with the dinosaur Rachel stuff and assumed it was from that time period of Uncanny X-Men.

I knew it was some high number. I'm gonna try and figure it out. X-treme was one of the first books other then Ultimate Spiderman that I started collecting. I thought it was a lot of fun and it got me into the larger Marvel U. I'll be interested to see what this is about.

I'd like to see it feature: Dazzler, Warpath, Professor X, Boom-Boom & Beast.
However, Liefeld is an enigma wrapped in a pouch-filled, muscular, footless conundrum.

They are switching Thunderbolts to something else at 175 just like they switched Incredible Hulk to Incredible Herc, and Daredevil to Black Panther..

Oooooooooooh! I was under the impression that they were replacing Thunderbolts with another book that had previously ended on #174. Thank you for clearing that up! :-)

They are doing a bit of both. Using the team or parts of it and moving them to the new title that'll start at 175.
