The game has been called off now. Bolton are apparently readying a statement, but it looks as though he may have had a heart attack.

Bolton have made a brief statement:

Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Fabrice Muamba has been taken to hospital following his collapse at White Hart Lane this evening during the FA Cup quarter-final.

There is no further information at this stage.

Considering that both players and fans were in tears while he was being treated, I would say that this is pretty serious.

BBC Sport is reporting that he's "fighting for his life in the hospital," whatever that means exactly.

He's in intensive care in a unit that deals with cardiac issues.

I just read about this...he's still in critical condition last I saw.

Crazy. I saw a video of it and I still can't believe it. Hope he recovers.

After seeing his performance against the Wolves I have to say this: He has been consistently good form for a while now and while he's not quite at the top of his game from before his leg break, his sudden resurgence is brilliant. When we were plagued by injuries, the way he just stepped up for the team was so unexpected given his slump back then.

Best winger in the Premier League right now, he's such a old school winger and plays an entirely predictable style yet still shines: Tracks back, can shoot, cross, pass, beats his man, get the ball in the box, no messing around, rinse and repeat.

City with and without Tevez....night and day.

If he wasn't there we'd still be 4 points in front :x

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/mar/30/manchester-city-sergio-aguero

Roberto Mancini has confirmed that striker Sergio Agüero will miss Saturday's Premier League match with Sunderland following a "stupid" injury.

Agüero was missing from the City team that drew at Stoke last Saturday with a foot problem.

Mancini has refused to say exactly what happened, however, it seems the problem was not of an orthodox nature. "It is a stupid injury," said the manager.

"It was not his fault but he can't play with this injury; for one day, 10 days or two weeks. I don't know."

Mancini was repeatedly asked what Agüero had done but declined to elaborate each time. "I prefer not to say," he said.

Any guesses?
