It's a pretty amazing dish, I bought a second corned beef this afternoon...I wish I didn't get rid of my extra cabbage and such last night there just wasn't enough room...and I didn't think I'd buy a second corned beef.

I love corned beef and cabbage. I've only had it a couple of times--my cousin's (Filipino) wife makes it, and I've had it at Kildaire's (an Irish-themed bar). I don't quite understand your story, though. What do you mean you bought a second corned beef? And there wasn't enough room for the cabbage where? I just don't get what you're trying to say.

I made it all yesterday, I had more veggies than corned beef leftover so I threw away a bunch of the extra veggies...I bought another corned beef that I will make tomorrow.
I also like it with horse radish over mustard.

I've only eaten the stuff here (Filipino here, btw), and I always thought it was only us who made it that way. Never thought the Irish would cook it the same way.

I cannot get past the stench.

Actually it's a Jewish/eastern european dish that the irish discovered when they came to America.
