Mega Man Appreciation Thread

Postby draco x » Tue Mar 20, 2012 6:54 pm

I have decided to make a thread dedicated to one of my favorite videogame characters and franchises of all times. To me Mega Man was one of the games I grew up on, especially Mega Man 2 who I consider to be the best one in the whole franchise( Followed by Mega Man 3 of course). I could go into a long rant about Mega Man but I will cut it short by listing some of my favorite Mega Man characters and will encourage all to buy the new series that is being put out by Archie Comics. If any feel like showing appreciation for the Blue Bomber feel free to comment as I do love feedback:

Favorite Mega Man Characters:

Proto Man
Zero
Gate
Quick Man
Guts Man
Storm Eagle
Agile
The Star Droids
Mattrex
Magma Dragoon
The Doc Bots

I loved chars from Mega Man 3, which was the one I played the most, in that old Nes era. Snake man and Hard man :D

From the X series, loved Wheel Gator. Never got the psx ones.

Edit: Megaman soccer, played it a lot and it was mindless fun.

I'd say right now is since Capcom doesn't seem interested in making a new game with the blue bomber. But then again.. there's also that 90s South American comic that the writer was gonna waste Rock and his entire cast for his Mary Sue OC.

Mega Man is one of my favorite game franchises ever.

I could replay any of those games forever.

Never played a single mega man game. Feel like I'm missing something.

Has Capcom explained the "logic" or lack thereof behind the decision to use that model of Mega Man for Street Fighter X Tekken?
