Not to mention that I doubt he's still reading every one of those titles to make that "critique".
For example, Red Lanterns, while consistently good, took an even cooler turn with #7. As did Hawkman #6 ! 8)

After thinking about this some more, I have decided that I don't care about the new iterations of Power Girl and E2 so I'm back down to less than I was before the relaunch.

LSH
Legion Lost
Batwoman

Keepin the Legion books because they are still pretty much the same folks I read about originally as a kid ( and I'm enjoying them) and Batwoman, because it's pretty much it's own thing and I LOVE JH Williams version of her.)

I cannot swear or curse enough to cover my reaction to "Shazam".

JH Williams' Batwoman is gorgeous and just plain cool.

Many of the older crowd (like me) bashed it before it even came out, but bringing back Batgirl, Barry Allen, and Hal Jordan is not nontraditional. My life overlapped JFK's and I love the New 52. It's even got my son into DC for the first time.

cool! What does you son read?

See, I like hearing when other people like the New 52, because I really am enjoying it, and I feel like I am crazy or have horrible taste in comics when people talk about how terrible it is.

I dunno... I feel like more was going on in his first few issues of X-Men.

Claremont was still there to help.

Lee's abilities to tell a story in art have always been poor and limited. I think he's gotten worse over time with less having to do this for a living and really having no passion for it.

This is pretty much me too.

I kept a few core books but dropped 70% of my DC list and, sadly, I don't even miss it. I do keep hearing some good things about a few books that I may get at a later date... but overall I'm kinda glad they rebooted as it's saved me some money.

Batman by Snyder is kicking all kinds of ass though!!

Everyone has recommended Snyder's Batman. I'll have to find some back issues .

I would say I read about 50-55 comic books a month. Out of that number 5 are from DC. That is the highest amount of DC comics I have read monthly in 25+ years of reading comics. To me the reboot works great. I like not having to deal with all the continuity. As a Marvel fan though I would be pissed if they rebooted all their comics. I'm thinking about picking up a few more titles from DC when the next wave of releases come out.

The Black Mirror or Gates of Gotham trades would be great places to start.
