Soon to be a movie starring Will Ferrell,or at least I would not be surprised if were.

Only slightly better then soon to be a Michael Bay film starring The Rock.

I loved it when it first came out, I had it recorded at one point and watched it a lot. I'm not sure whatever happened to that tape now.

Looking back on it now the funniest thing is that the nerdy arrogant doctor grew up to be one of the Lone Gunmen

Great series.

The CGI doesn't hold up all that well by today's standards, but the story telling is still top notch.

That CGI didn't hold up even when it originally aired.

True, but at the time, nobody else was doing it full CGI that way and that gave the series its own look in a way that seemed kind of cool.

Now days, it just plain doesn't look good at all

The title says "favorite" so I guess I have to say reruns of Star Trek.

As a kid though, I liked almost anything scince-fictiony.

Old anime like Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, etc, then later Star Blazers/Yamato.

Character live action like Hulk, Man From Atlantis, Greatest American Hero

Saturday morning like Shazam!/Isis Hour, Space Academy, Jason of Star Command (and the one with that van/tank/ark thing that I forgot the name of)

Nighttime shows like Battlestar Galactica (but not 1980!), Buck Rogers, Quark and Salvage I

My tokusatsu shows like Kikaida, Kamen Rider, GoRangers...

Probably a lot more my old brain aren't coming up with...

Well if you're going with absolute favourite as a kid, it would have to be Force Five, and in particular, this part of Force Five:
