Chrome's End-User License Agreement makes for some very interesting reading, esp. where the ownership of Uploads is concerned... Don't be surprised if your baby pix turn up in Google ads.
If you want Chrome's features, get Chromium, the unbranded open source version. It's available for Linux, of course, and it can be built on Windows.
I'm a Fifrefox / Thunderbird devotee, but I also condone the use of Opera, even though you'll occasionally run across an unsupported site.
IE is a first rate tool for downloading a decent browser... Credit where credit is due.
