Can someone convince those idiots at Capcom to not ruin one their biggest franchises with these bone-headed decisions? Mega Man to Capcom is what Spiderman and X-Men are to Marvel.

Mega Man 3 blows Mega Man 2 out of the water, in my opinion. Why would people prefer Mega Man 2 when it was a simpler (and shorter) game?

I'm with you thirtyfiveminutesago

MM3 is the best game in the series, 2 was good but most people say it was the best because they are told that it is the best by IGN or something and have never actually played 3 for a length of the time. The inclusion of the slide was the perfect balance to the game, and for those who complain that it was too easy have never gotten to the clones of the bosses from 2 near the end of the game.

I genuinely believe that both games are the best of the Mega Man games myself but the reason I prefer 2 is because of the music, the bosses and the special designs it brought. Now bear in mind the 3rd game had all those things too but if it weren't for the second one, MM3 wouldn't have been good as it was, therefore making it only marginally better than its predecessor. If they hadn't included Rush, Protoman or the Doc Robots that had the powers of the MM2 robot masters, MM3 couldn't even compare to MM2.

I liked how they brought back the MM2 robot bosses in those Doc Robots myself as that was an ingenious idea from Capcom. I wish that they had brought back the Doc Bots in the other Mega Man games myself.
