They are mythologically based (not that Kenshin is but it matches the samurai era better)

California's AM2 to Host U.S. Premiere of Live-Action Kaibutsu-Kun Film

The AM2 convention announced on Wednesday that the event will host the American premiere of Eiga Kaibutsu-kun, the 3D live-action film adaptation of Fujiko Fujio A's Kaibutsu-kun supernatural action manga starring 30-year-old Arashi band member Satoshi Ohno. The event will host two screenings of the film — the first will be exclusively for "Passport" ticket holders, and the second will be open to all attendees, with preferential seating for "Passport" ticket holders.

AM2 will also screen the live-action films Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Gyakuten Saiban) and Kaiji 2 as well as the anime film Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos.

Takuya to Star in Live-Action Film of Ai Ore! Manga

It was announced on Saturday that the actor Takuya will play the role of Rui Kiryuuin in the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Mayu Shinjo's Ai Ore Love Me! (Ai-Ore! Danshikō no Hime to Joshikō no Ōji). The role will be Takuya's feature film debut, though he has previously made appearances in television programs such as the drama Sign, as well as the KBS World program Music Bank. Kiryuuin, Takuya's character in the film, is the energetic and playful student council vice-president of the series' Dankaisan High School.

Legal digital manga portal JManga has added a slate of new manga that includes Takao Saito's influential Barom One, Makoto Tateno's yaoi Yokan - Premonition, the second volume of Kotobuki Shiriagari's (Ax: Alternative Manga) corporate comedy O.SHI.GO.TO., and the third of Ryo Ikuemi's josei romance Cousin.

Crayon Shin-chan To Cross Over With Kamen Rider Fourze

To promote both Super Hero War and Crayon Shin-chan’s new movie The Storm Called: Me and the Space Princess, a crossover has been announced between the Crayon Shin-chan anime and Kamen Rider Fourze. This collaboration celebrates Crayon Shin-chan’s 20th anniversary as well as the 40th anniversary of Kamen Rider.

The story will cross two episodes of each show and will revolve around the heroes working together to save Princess Himawari of the planet Himawari. The Crayon Shin-chan episodes will air on April 13th and 27th, and the Kamen Rider episodes will air April 15th and 29th.
