WHat do you use to illustrate?
I start with a thumbnail in my shetchbook to get the pose I want, then I fire up my Wacom cintiq and rework the sketch in Alias Sketchbook pro. I do most of the pencils in Alias then I import the sketch to Manga Studio 4 for ink, paint, and perspective rulers for BGs. Alias has amazing pencil emulators, nothing feels as natural when it comes to digital pencils but the more I use Manga, the more I just use their raster pencil emulator. It's not bad at all and I could see myself working completely in Manga Studio 4 eventually.
I'm generally a huge fan of redesigns, so it's cool to see someone else's take on characters. I think the S-shield is a little too small on Superman.
I'll try to bump it up a bit and see what it looks like. Personally I hate giant sized \S/, but ya there's still some room for it to be bigger. That's what I love most about digital art, I can tweak it forever!
Voila, %15 more \S/.
