We had a nice table in NJ but left it behind. No dining room in this apartment so we eat at a smaller kitchen which annoys the shit out of me because it's wobbly.

I have one, Its used almost daily for dinner and as a junk gatherer.

In my next house, if (big if) I'm able to get a good kitchen, I won't have a dining room table.

I have a dining room table. It is in storage because me apartment is so small. I eat at the computer desk, the coffee table or while sitting in my recliner watching TV.

We do, but we hardly really use it. Or at least I don't. I eat in my room. We used to all eat in the table as a family but we only ever do that on the rare occasion or when we're celebrating something. My mom eats at the table in the morning and my sis uses the table. My uncle's main area is the table and does everything there. My brother comes and goes. Even I feel weird at the table by myself or if it ain't a special occasion.

It's antique, I don't know what wood. We got it when my husband's parents moved into a retirement community.

Yes, and we eat at it almost every day (the exception being a sporting event like the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup or something like that)

No. When I moved to a smaller apartment, my wife and I converted the dining room to an office for her and threw the dining table away.

I have a glass dining room table top, with 2 faux stone columns for legs, and 2 Mies Van der Rohe leather chairs. My old PC sits there so it's become a desk.
I usually eat meals off the coffee table while watching mindless TV shows :-D

I have one that is used for most meals. My wife and son eat every meal at the table, but I occasionally eat at the coffee table in front of the tv if I'm having dinner after my son goes to bed.
