Burrell In, Downey Out as Peabody

Ty Burrell will voice one of the lead roles in DreamWorks Animation's CG-animated, 3D feature film version of Mr. Peabody & Sherman, which began as a segment on Jay Ward's animated series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

The Hollywood Reporter says the Emmy-winning Modern Family star will replace Robert Downey Jr. as the voice of the genius dog Mr. Peabody.

Kid actor Max Charles, who plays little Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man movie, will voice Mr. Peaody's pet boy, Sherman. Together, Peabody and Sherman used their time-traveling WABAC machine to witness and more often than not alter historical events.

The Cat in the Hat Strikes Again

Perhaps a cat really does have nine lives. Universal Pictures, Illumination Entertainment's Chris Meledandri, and Dr. Seuss' widow Audrey Geisel will soon give The Cat in the Hat another go on the big screen. This time, however, the classic character will be getting the 3D-animated treatment, a la Universal and Illumination's hit adaptation of Dr. Seuss' The Lorax. Rob Lieber will write the script.

They pull this shit all the time. Every other country gets full seasons on one package. We're the only ones who get Season 1, Volume 1 etc. :smt011
