Yahoo movies is reporting that Chloe Moretz will be taking over the role of Carrie in Stephen Kings classic tale.

I would say they should just do a movie version of the musical, but I refuse to entertain that notion until the movie version of the Evil Dead musical has been done.

Of course they do. The movie going public doesn't want new or anything that isn't completely spelled out for them in the trailer.

i think there is a lot of laziness to spread around. Producers want to make money, stars want to 'be challenged' (as long as it bolsters their image and keeps them looking good) and marketing is done to the lowest common denominator.

I don't see it much different in other countries. How many fucking versions of Emma is England going to crank out?

Anyone doing her would make us all uncomfortable. Plus I dont think that Yoni would wanna see her naked like he does with Chloe.

I would really classify either as Hollywood movies,maybe the Ferrell movie but certainly not red state
the will Ferrell movie looks awesome
