Eh, the Sixers are what 2.5 games away from anyone not named the Heat or the Bulls, so if you don't think they've done anything this season, then so be it. I doubt I can convince you otherwise nor am I really inclined to.

And losing your center is a part of any team especially since they had no real depth at that position. It doesn't mean they didn't have depth overall, because that's a silly argument as well. Other teams would kill for the Sixers bench.

So the Celtics handed the Heat their worst loss of the season today so I am happy.

Living on the West Coast I've seen more Celtics game in the last 4 years than I have in the last 20. The reason why is not only that they won a title a few years ago, they have star power, which is the Sixers biggest problem. They don't have a franchise player that will bring in good television ratings, so ESPN, TNT and NBAtv won't feature them that much.

You are correct about the bench, but, until they pick up a legitimate superstar don't hope on seeing them televised too much.

Just get a league pass.

Sixers were a joke because after they drafted Iverson, he went on a spree to coon the fuck out of the NBA and did so until he was traded to the Denver Nuggets where he was unable to outcoon anyone.

Meh at the Bulls loss to the Thunder. I knew they'd lose it. Against that kind of star power I knew they were teetering toward a loss sooner or later without Rose. However, it appears the Celtics could prove to be quite the problem to any high seed of the East. Beating them now seems to be a problem.

Or according to Salwen, the 76ers, who are going to go all the way and beat everyone and win a championship and then go on to build a superstructure on the moon where everyone can live and then they will solve world hunger and single handedly defeat that Syrian dictator and free the country and then ninja kick that ugly toupee off of David Stern's head because they are more amazing than the Jordan-era bulls which is why they deserve the ESPN coverage.

The NBA is a joke, because you have 19 year old rookies without NBA skills, bodies, or maturity. Tim Duncan played 4 years of college and it shows. The NBA has not been great since the 98 Bulls and it has not been good since the last Spurs title. If they disbanded it and the NFL, I would not care at all.

2008 and 2010 has some of the best and highest ratings of any NBA finals ever.

The league is fine, the commissioner isn't, but, the league is OK.
