Every group of characters usually has a lancer. It's a character that isn't the leader, but always gives the leader crap. Like Raphael in the Ninja Turtles, FaceMan in the A-team, or Jane from Firefly.

It comes from the character Lancelot, who was always challenging King Arthur.

I thought it was Guenevere that Lancelot challenged?

First of all, I will second these characters as they are absolutely atrocious:

Lori Grimes (The Walking Dead)
Willie Scott (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom)

Then I will add the following:

Joffrey Baratheon (Game of Thrones)
Lisa Simpson (The Simpsons)
Carlie Cooper (Amazing Spider-Man)

It's hard to hate Brainy Smurf because his entire point was to be annoying. That being said, there's someone elsewher I refer to as Brainy Smurf because he's an annoying idiot that I can't stand.

Not really. Hawkeye is lame. As a matter of fact archer superheroes as a whole are pretty much the dumbest thing ever.

So I am guessing you pretty much hate Green Arrow as well.

Generation 1 Starscream was AWESOME!



That is all.

Starscream was primarily comic-relief for the most part. Most of the characters didn't respect him or take him seriously in the original cartoon. The fact that Megatron smacked him around so much made that point clear.
