It was the first Gundam series showed on mass. It appealed to everyone. Pretty boys with freaky relationships for the gals. Zechs and Treize kicking ass and taking names for the boys. Also Lady Une and Noin. *shifty eyes*

It was more a bishojou super robot show, not Gundam. Which is fine, except for the name.

EDIT: AH. And now I know the real reason you like Saffron Henderson...
