X-Factor is the least connected to the other X-books. :smt011

Exactly!

Except it spun out of House of M.

And then it crossed over with Civil War with appearances by the X-Men.

And then it crossed over with Messiah Complex.

And after that they had that Utopia one-shot.

And when that was all over it tied into Second Coming.

And I guess it's part of Team Wolverine with Havok and Polaris's return.

But other than that it's totally not connected to the X-titles.

He didn't say it's not connected. He said least connected - and he's right.

Everything you mentioned totals maybe.. what.. 7-10 issues? Out of something like 90 issues?

And being part of Team Wolverine has had little to no bearing on the book itself thus far, apart from an appearance by Logan in a recent issue, and even that only to setup the new leader.

Nope, it carries it. I just don't pick up anything related to any of the X-Books at all. Those book are too numerous, and too interconnected for me to want to pay attention to at all. I prefer to give myself the option of getting stuff that doesn't involve mutants.

X-Factor is completely independent.

I forgot to put in the spoiler bit where I tell the internet that I'm teasing. I'm sorry.

Eh. It can be read and enjoyed without that other crap. I know because I avoided 90% of the rest.

Canadian Ninja does not run from bears and wolves. He walks from them.

Which would explain why there are so few Canadian Ninjas left alive.

Bah, he who can't tame beasts like bears and wolves can't very well call himself a Canadian ninja.

"tame beasts" eh? That's what you Canadians call it?

So, does Stephen Day wear a spandex ninja suit or not?

A true ninja does not reveal such secrets.
