Madoka Magica like Another would have to be played at night. They are not for kids. Both have graphic deaths in them. Both are very much worth seeing.
Rinne no Lagrange is another show that should be seen in North America. Anime has built up a number of series that could rather well and have niche audiences with a new and returning viewership.
Kore wa Zombie Desu ka, Ben-To, Ano Natsu de Matteru, Gundam Unicorn, Shakugan no Shana, Mai-Otome, Mai-HIME, Bakemonogatari/Nisemonogatari are all, or were good shows for America. Though some like Bakemonogatari/Nisemonogatari are more for late night while Ben-To would need some explanation. Kore wa Zombie Desu ka... may have to be late night given some of the language... if they want to keep the humor up.
