Batroc, treated seriously, would be an awesome henchman for Zemo or HYDRA or AIM or random Russians or really anyone. A badass French mercenary with martial arts skills is a great villain. Maybe ditch the costume, or change it somewhat.

Like I said, I love me some leaper as much as anyone, but, not in as a major vehicle for a Marvel film.

I'd rather see the Crimson Dynamo as a henchman anyway, you could mix in Widow and Tony if you wanted.

I don't think they are going to have any of the big three show up in the other movies with each other, so when they do Avengers movies it feels special.

I could see Widow showing up though.

They already basically did the Dynamo in IM2.

While I like Batroc and don't want him to be the guy in that spot, I fully support those sorts of scenes in superhero movies and I wish more people would do them. I loved in The Dark Knight when they had Scarecrow at the start for Batman's first action scene. It adds a cool sense that there's shit going on between the movies and there's these villains just running around needing to be stopped, even if they don't warrant a full movie.

Except we've been talking about it on OHG for a while and it was suggested he'd be a secondary villain/hired hand.

I think there's a good chance we'll have the Winter Soldier in Cap 2.
