I realize that but it just makes me wonder what's coming out in July that has Cap so scared. I thought the first movie did pretty well and the franchise should just gain even more momentum after the Avengers movie (assuming it's well received, of course).

But as far as a patriotic themed hero, you can't really do much better than a fourth of July release or near abouts.

Are people really complaining that we're getting the movie a few months earlier than they thought we would be getting it? You can still watch it on July 4th if that's what you want to do. This is good news.

But no, I'm just curious WHY. I'm totally cool going to this movie in April. I mean, Avengers is a month away and I'm not complaining that I won't have to wait until summer. It's just weird, is what I'm saying.

I'd rather see Crossbones as a throwaway/supporting character than Batroc.

As for the main villain...I don't know. I don't think Zemo would work without their history from WW2.

That could be retconned in with relative ease. They montaged most of Cap's involvement in WWII. It would be nice if that montage was expanded upon.

Hmn. Next year is Monsters University... then a couple of untitled films; about being in the mind of a girl and a dinosaur film... Not sure if anything else big will hit in 2014.
