At least the original proposal had some sense having it be Peter's kids instead of Norman's. It would've mean that Gwen didn't pity fuck Norman.
Yeah, I was aware of that and I would have taken that anyday over Norman and Gwen sleeping together-That scenario was just torture porn all over.

Yeah, but marrying a middle aged loser professor who looked like every cliche of creepy college douche professor who tries to "relate" to his female students and looks suspiciously like an avatar of Marv Wolfman really takes the cake.
Donna obviously had daddy issues then as I never did understand what she saw in that guy myself. He came off as Woody Allen with a beard.

I would have been okay with that.Hell, I would have accepted them to be Harry's kids.
Harry would have been a much better choice than his creepy dad as he and Gwen knew each other much better. Besides in all reality, I don't see Gwen and Norman ever sleeping together at all due to the fact that Norman is a creepy middle-aged man and a major douchebag and Norman( In all fairness to him) would never risk a scandal by bedding a barely-legal college age student given the fact that he and Gwen's dad are old acquaintances. It was basically the editorial staff making Norman their go-to-guy for another mess they needed cleaning up.

Not even the original BKV mini?
I barely remembered that run. The Hood came off as another Peter Parker knockoff with the a magic cape.

Agreed and agreed. The messed up thing is that as much while Strazscynski was blamed for that abomination, he did wanted to retcon that crapfest with the One More Day storyline but the editorial staff decided that keeping it cannon was a good idea. If only they had retconned Sins Past instead of Peter's marriage how things would have been so much better.
Both should have been retconned.

I never read Sins Past, but I have read about how much people hated the story. I will say that something good came out of that story, and that something was Norman Osborn's death, blondes, and victory monologue from the Ellis Thunderbolts run.
When a man lies, he murders some part of the world.

It would have been better if they dropped the twins off the bridge like their mother so that they would never come back-but then again we could never get that lucky.

Perhaps they could get Superboy Prime to do a retcon punch.

Another candidate for annoying character:
Although the Carlton Dance was epic, god was Carlton annoying as a character on the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air.

Carlton Banks was awesome. That's as misguided a pick as Starscream

The talk about Terry Long made me remember Dale Gunn. A character whith the weirdest effect on women ever.

Judging by the fact that Patrick Stewart was once one of People Magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive," I'd say that women love the bald.
