So, having now read through my stack, a few observations:
Amazing Spider-Man is currently the most fun it has been in about twenty years. I'm not usually a big Dan Slott fan, but he gets Spidey, and that makes me happy.

Daredevil is the best superhero book on the stands, with Batman a close second.

I am glad to be dropping iZombie. WHen I heard it was being canceled, I thought about keeping up with it until the end, but it has just become so dull that it really isn't worth it.

While I was underwhelmed by the first Justice League arc, I really wasn't prepared for just how dreadful #7 was. This book is definitely on the bubble for me.

Likewise JLI #7 was truly awful. Jurgens needs to up his game in a big way.

New Deadwardians shows a lot of promise, though it did seem like rather a quick read for a Vertigo book.

DC's 'Dark' books are definitely the best things to come out of the reboot, Batman notwithstanding.

Back to JL #7 - why is Johns writing Hal as if he was Bwa-ha-haaa-era Guy Gardner without the charm?

One thing I have been wondering about JLI if Jurgens has stretched himself a little too thin with a the books he is working on or backing up for other creative teams.

King City TP--AWESOME!
Avengers--West Coast Avengers--Lost in Space Time--Total Englehart Magic. Absolutely loved this story as a kid.
Essential X-Men Vol. 10--Holy Sh%t. We're already up to the Extinction Agenda? Why are the other Essentials so far behind this?
Classic GI Joe Vol. 14--I can now see why this got cancelled. Please tell me that the Transformers crossover is not "cannon". Also, Snake Eyes and the Ninja Force. Yikes. What the hell happened to Scarlett? This is not made better by 90's style art, either. Yuck!

To make matters worse, IDW has decided to do a separate GI Joe/Transformers trade. Containing the original mini and then including the same arc they just reprinted in Vol 14.

I'm going looking to see if any of the LCS have the mini already in stock before I go buying something on Ebay.

I should finally write mine up tomorrow. Got them last week but I kept putting them off because I have to pick some books on credit first at the LCS out here.

Yeah I bought sets of GI Joe/Transformers and the Order of Battle minis on Ebay for under $10 each including shipping.

So now with Vol 15 I'll have what would be considered the entire run.

It doesn't look like us DCBS'ers will be getting their FCBD books. :(

That's OK, though. I have several shops I plan to hit up next week in any event.

DCBS doesn't ship em till after FCBD. Its always been that way. LOL its annoying when everyone else gets em early but no big deal.

And like you, since we're only limited to 5 books, I have to hit the stores out here to get the rest of them. 5 in one store, 6 in the other.

Right now I'm just hoping I get the Archaia book from DCBS. Everyone's talking about how the book got allocated by Diamond cause EVERYONE wanted it and some stores got severely limited on their amounts.

That one's going to be the king of Ebay.
