I just prefer comedy in my comedies, rather than gimmicks.

Punchy wrote:I thought the execution of the Ken Burns documentary style was good, but they didn't really use it for any funny jokes. It was accurate, but I don't want accurate homage, I want jokes, and this episode didn't have that many.

I did like Britta's inept photography though.

wtf are you talking about? the episode was loaded with jokes. :smt011

But how many of those came from the Ken Burns parody? It wasn't even a parody really.

You're the only one that's made that connection.

You're arguing with yourself.

Classic.

I'm the only one that's made the connection that the episode is a Ken Burns parody? You can't all be that dumb.

I can't tell if you're serious or not Hab.

In case you are, here is an IGN review acknowledging it as a Ken Burns parody

and Entertainment weekly

or go to any other discussion of this show on the internet.

If you're just joking, then I guess I don't get the joke.

You do know how good comedy writing works right?

Not to mention how these characters on the show feed into the madness they surround themselves with?

He was picking on Punchy who was claiming there weren't many jokes in the episode.

From every single one of the deans lines this episode to another awesome Leonard moment to everything between Annie and Jeff, the episode was very packed with it's humor and laugh out loud jokes.

Punchy though seems to think differently.
