Because conservatives today still hold Reagan up as the model of a president, and say they would follow his example. So if his policies were so great, why was unemployment at 10% when he was president, and what was the real unemployment rate? Or is it only an issue when a Democrat is in office.

When the number of individuals who have stopped looking for a job and/or who are working part-time but desire full-time employment is included.

It also counts people who went back to school or are in school.

It also counts people under the age of 16, people in the military, the elderly and housewives.

No. The maximum (at least in NY) is $405 per week.

Fake or not, we have used the same unemployment formula for years. This is a disingenuous figure.
