Watching QPR/Utd....massive attacking start by United.

And I get the feeling Mark Hughes has written this one off as there's no Bobby Zamora or Joey Barton out there.

Oh man that was bad refereeing. Young was clearly offside right in front of the linesman (at least a yard), he received a ball from Rooney, Derry merely touched his hand to Youngs back and Young went down hard.

Red card for Derry while Rooney tucks away the penalty. Mark Hughes is arguing with the 4th official. I agree, they were screwed massively there.

1-0 united leading at HT. Welbecks made absolute messes of some chances while Rafael seems to be getting a bit reckless with his tackling at times.

QPR is still putting up a fight with 10 men though. Taiwo has been shutting down Valencia and Taarabt is a constant threat everywhere.

Goal from Scholes after an assist from Valencia. Beautiful low outside the box shot through so many players.

United win 2-0. If Arsenal prevails against Man City now the league could very well be decided today.

Yes!

And Balotelli was an utter selfish cunt all game. I think the rest of City want him gone given that Hart was gesturing to the bench.

Mancini is hinting that Balotelli has played his last game for City: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012 ... ty-mancini

The thing is, Mancini kind of has to shoulder some of the blame himself. After what he did to Song it was absolutely clear that Baloteli was going to get himself sent off at some point: a proper manager would have subbed him then and there. Instead, Mancini left him on for the full 90 minutes and, sure enough, he got sent off.

I think City will be looking for a new manager this summer.

"Mario should have been sent off after 20 minutes," said the City manager. "I've finished my words for him. I've finished. I love him as a guy, as a player. I know him. He's not a bad guy and is a fantastic player. But, at this moment, I'm very sorry for him because he continues to lose his talent, his quality.

"I hope, for him, he can understand that he's in a bad way for his future. And he can change his behaviour in the future. But I'm finished. We have six games left and he will not play. It's not sure he'll [be available] because he could get a three- or four-game ban. Now, I need to be sure that I have always 11 players on the pitch. With Mario, it's always a big risk. Every time we risk one [man] being sent off, even if he can also score in the last minute."

I'm sorry, that really is just shit management. Also, after the Tevez incident can we really believe Mancini when he says someone is 'finished' at City?

Yeah, I've never been all that impressed with Mancini. All the talent that Man City's rich owner have given him and I don't think he's ever shown the ability to get them really working as a team.

Tevez's apology to City also included a jab at Mancini saying he treated him like a dog lol, but desperation seems to have factored into overlooking that when taking him back.

Balotelli in the meanwhile has had his form slump badly and was making reckless challenges all day during what should have been a pivotal match. Mancini can at least rely on Tevez to give it his all.

He either wants back in the Serie A and is deliberately showing. As form cus he's a bastard or he's flopping faster than Andy Carroll.

He's a good player, but more than a bit of a head case. He'll play a whole bunch of good games in which you begin to think that maybe he has the ability to put the BS behind him, then he pulls out something like this. The man is his own worst enemy at times.

I've been saying that for a while. When they get working they dominate games but the slightest bit of friction just breaks them down.

It probably won't happen, but I'll laugh so much if Arsenal catch up to City and finish second.

He did score 2 goals last week though.
