After all, these are established characters with a history that everyone knows. He can't use his usual "I can screw with their pasts and characterization ANY way I want! The characters are so obscure/underused that no one will EVER know the difference!!" technique that makes Starman and Shade fans automatically swoon over his every misbegotten word. "JUSTICE!!" Robinson has to learn beforehand how these characters usually talk and behave, but everyone who read his Cry for Justice mini and subsequent JLoA run know he can't EVER do THAT.
You may start the countdown to someone saying something ridiculously clunky like
"We MUST believe in them!! These are The Masters of the Universe!!" now...
