I would prefer Metallo, but Brainiac would be awesome too.

Unless this movie flops, and we don't get the sequel.

Have DC finally learnt their lesson?

The story is by Nolan and Goyer. Say what you will about Snyder, but one thing that's a given is that Nolan and Goyer write good stories. The X factor is Snyder's direction which justifiably gets criticized for more misses than hits.

Having said that, the fact that Nolan chose Snyder and that Nolan is supervising his work is extremely promising. With the trailer set to debut this summer, we'll get our first glimpse soon enough.

When it comes to Superman and Batman, WB is very protective. They know they have to protect their 2 biggest franchises and the fact they have Nolan overseeing both tells me we're probably going to get a good movie.

The one I'm worried about is Green Lantern. All the talk around town is leaning toward a soft reboot (ala the Incredible Hulk) acting as a lead-in to a Justice League movie. Superman and Batman, I'm not worried about. GL and JL? Yeah, I'm much more concerned about those.

Green Lantern needs to start over from scratch completely. New writers, directors, actors, everything.

They need a redo with GL. The only thing I liked was Sinestro's casting. That guy was great.

First, get this guy for Hal.

Then get some folks whom really like GL to do the script and direct it.

Also, no skin tight costumes and less of the roughed up looking aliens plus the Oan tech should look smooth, not rough. Take a look at the costume designs in the comic now, looks good enough.

Also... hot actress as Carol and as Star Sapphire.

I know del Toro was mentioned, but he blows away Nolan. Blade 2 (which I thought was good) and then the 2 Hellboy movies (which were fantastic).

People have mentioned in this thread that Bale hasn't been great as Batman. Well, how can you have one of the greatest comic book franchises of all time when the title character is only mediocre in the role? And again, the fight scenes. Batman is as much defined by martial arts as he is with his detective skills. And I don't know how someone like Nolan, who can direct amazing action in Inception, can direct such lackluster action scenes in Batman.
