Just bought Silver-Age Hawkman # 1

Postby Drcharles » Sat Apr 14, 2012 2:37 pm

Can't believe how cheap I've managed to get this comic for, bought it a couple of weeks ago from ebay for £7.01, the only problem is the top corner peiec is missing and the centre pages are loose. Well pleased, Im hoping to complete my entire Silver age Hawkman comics collection,............ :)

I've long thought that just owning some of these classic books is more than enough than having to have it 'mint'.

Great grab. Congrats.

That's my line of thinking, as well.

I may not own a $20,000 copy, but I own a copy of Showcase 22! :P

Congrats!

In one of my boxes I have Shazam #1 from DC, the first issue of Shazam in the DCU.

I'm not a huge Hawkman fan but that would be a cool book to have.

I have a copy of Kirby's New Gods #1 and Teen Titans #23 (the first appearance of Wonder Girl / Donna in her classic red costume). They're the absolute prides of my collection)...
