So I guess we can still give input? Cool. Ok. So why don't we take a walk on the wild side and put together a hardback book of some of the writing talent and artists and do a kickstarter? You decide a page rate plus print cost and that's what the cash goal should be. Maybe an anthology of stories voted on by the community. Then have a daw off for pencilers to do a 3 page tryout of any (and all) of the stories. Inkers (I grudgingly say.. optional) would get to tryout on the finalist pencilers and vote. Next, colorists get to try out and vote and so on. Finally, you take the 12 or so finished pages (3 pages from each story maybe 150 pages in total?) and put it on KICKSTARTER and MAKE IT HAPPEN!

So what do you think? Hopefully more than "no". :-D

The plans for the new artist corner are still being worked on. I do promise you that it will come to fruition, and when it's finished, it will be more than just a subforum.

There are certain things that stand in the way, such as a site overhaul, which Jude has been working on. But he's only one programmer and there's an awful lot on his plate.

As far as your idea goes, I like it, but it seems like we only have a handful of people right now capable of pulling off the project. I would hope to have more artists and writers before attempting such a laborious project.

That's more than 10. :wink:
