http://www.thundercatslair.org/forums/s ... php?t=7808Dan Norton just confirmed on his FB that the show is a go for at least 52 episodes. Looks like we'll be seeing Lion-O and the gang for a while to come!

I don't often get to watch this (I don't have Cartoon Network) but I'm gonna pick up the whole season when it comes out.
Saw the second episode of Lion-O's trials... GOOD stuff! Good use of Jaga there!
... Panthro disarmed?

Really liked Tygra's origin. Hadn't really given it a second though.
I wonder what kind of fur their jackets were made of.

Yeah it really put into perspective why he resents Lion-O so much. He took the only two things Tygra cared about.

one of the things I'm really getting sick of in this show is the relationship between those two.
Everytime they seem to make some progress they just hit the reset button for the next episode, it's stupid.
You'd think after the revelation at the end of trials episodes, where Tygra realized it was hard to be a good leader and how much Lion-O was willing to sacrifice for their mission he'd be a little bit less of a prick.

On the other hand isn't it nice to see a cartoon where a lifetime of animosity isn't washed away in just 20 minutes?

Not when they lead you to believe that it has been resolved.
This is at least the third time they've "resolved" that particular plot point only to have it come back immediately.
It makes sense that it would return after Tygra and Cheetara start seeing one another, but after the trials of lion-o? It seems cheap. I'm sure it will pop back up after this too.

The one thing I really disliked about the Cheetera thing was that the elephants predicted that someone would betray Lion-O and then it turns out that the "betrayal" was that the girl he liked liked someone else.

It makes sense Lion-O is really petty.

I don't think I've ever seen such a fall off in quality between a pilot and the rest of the series.
It's usually the opposite for shows that get picked up.

I agree Hab, this show's pilot was really quite good.
The rest has been okay, but it is no where near that level of quality.
And I'm pretty sure the older brother from Boy Meets World wrote one of the episodes too.

But part of that is because the pilot had longer to tell it's story so the pacing was better. I noticed especially in the Tygra episode that there were scenes that were rushed because of the 20 minute time limit.
It's also suffering from the same affliction that most reboots suffer from: trying to incorporate all the classic characters. Did we really need to see the Robears again? Not in my opinion.
