Ooooooh so much ignorance on display here, even for The Outhouse.

Being a minor name writer outside of comics doesn't mean his name meant shit to comics fans before he started writing comics. He's not George Martin or Stephen King or anything. And while he may have no issues making money (I have no idea if it turns a profit or not) with his publishing company that produces books that sell a few thousand copies, he's far from a huge name in the publishing industry and his company may be profitable but it's still small and hasn't published a book in a couple of years apparently.

So to say that he will be fine without comics is fine. But if you are implying he's some big name guy that was a big name to comics fans before he wrote any comics is silly.
