Good stuff. I have that myself. How do you like the Dark Horse Omnibus style? I had some issues with my "X" Omnibus falling apart a bit after I hit the middle of the book.

This is the first one I've gotten. It's a bit small, and the gutter isn't big enough. I have to really open the book far to see all of the panel, which will eventually cause the spine to crease and crack. I have the "X" one, too, but haven't read it yet.

Yeah, at first the size was perfect for carrying around and reading on the go. The only problem was when I had to do exactly what you said, open the book far, and the pages began to separate. I wasn't even bothered by the reduction in art size. The Dark Horse Heroes one actually held up for some reason.

Even less than that. I got the first two for half off, and the third one from a different dealer for only $5.

My first Age of Apocalypse book, and to be honest the only reason I wasn't disappointed was because I read some reviews of this and was not expecting the beginning of the story, but a bunch of supporting tales.
And with that in mind this is a cool book. Suffers a bit from the different artists (especially in the Blink story).
I love this kind of days of a future past kind of marvel universe stories and reading these "tales of AOA" made me want to read the second book even more.

Finally got ahold of Gil Kane's OGN.

The art looks great, hopefully the story holds up.

I got that when it came out. I wonder what happened to that copy?

(I was 8.)

I am currently reading Missile Mouse, a kids SF adventure graphic novel from Scholastic. Its actually pretty good. A little predictable sometimes, but I'm not the target audience. Before that I read Usagi Yojimbo vol. 8; the first Dark Horse edition. These are really great. I feel like I've been robbing myself of years of enjoyment, but I'm quickly catching up.

Well, I have to say I'm not familiar with Filiu.
