The first installment in a four-episode Kamen Rider Fourze and Crayon Shin-chan crossover special will air on the TV Asahi network in Japan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The special celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Crayon Shin-chan television anime series' broadcast debut in Japan.
In the special's story, Shin-chan and Fourze travel to help the boy's younger sister Himawari on the planet Himawari, where the girl has been taken and made into a princess.

The Cinema Today website began streaming a 108-second Ai version trailer for the live-action film adaptation of Ikki Kajiwara's Ai to Makoto (Ai and Makoto) manga on Wednesday. Prolific director Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, Crows Zero, Yatterman, Ace Attorney) is directing this fourth live-action adaptation of the romance story.

In a relationship column, women's magazine Gow! says that otaku have certain virtues as romantic partners. By definition they're diligent. The authors says they also tend to be kind, earnest, and stable. But they also warn that there are six types you might not want to marry.
Anime otaku
The stereotype associated with these types is that they "stay indoors all day, watching and recording anime." But for females who are already homebodies, these types may be the perfect catch. Find some anime geared for older audiences that you both can totally get into, and then you'll find it super easy to get along with and date this type of otaku. However, anime may just be the starting point for some of these otaku; with figurines, doujin, seiyuu and the like, the breadth of these type of otaku can be very wide. Check to see just how far your otaku guy is into anime as well as be aware of what your own tolerance level is.
Electronics otaku
These types are into computers, audio equipment, and various other kinds of electronics. Even when they desire a stylish room, they will change the placement of the furniture and demand consumer electronics equipment to be of the leading brand. It is almost inevitable that large numbers of cable streaming down to the floor will plague their rooms. Since electronics are expensive and since these types usually want the latest and greatest devices as soon as possible, they can be described as "money draining landmine otaku."
Idol otaku
Recently there have been people labeling themselves as "idol otaku" but in the general sense, the types who primarily go only to concerts or meet-and-greet events should be within the girl's tolerance levels. However, it can become difficult being in a relationship with a type of guy who always holds a love for young pop stars and pin-up girls. Therefore make sure you have a strong acceptance for each other and aim to become a married couple independent of the idol scene.
Game otaku
The number of couples who are into console or MMO gaming together is increasing. Sharing the same interest provide a good means of intimacy with one's partner. However, if the wife is not into gaming and the husband just games all day, discord may occur in the relationship as a result of having nothing to talk about.
Train otaku
This type doesn't only enjoy taking trains, but they also love photographing them and building model train sets. Being in a relationship with a train otaku means that you'll probably going on loads of train journeys together, even when you both become an elderly couple. Model train sets are pricey but within a girl's tolerance levels. The trouble comes when taking pictures, as these guys consider the trains as their main girlfriend. Because the girl's partner is more interested in taking photos of trains than them, and because of the money these guys waste on cameras and whatnot, they are also labeled as "landmines."
Superhero/Tokusatsu otaku
These are the guys into Japanese superhero characters such as Kamen Rider and Ultraman. Because many of these otaku are collectors, your house could be covered in superhero items. And also, those that are into rare items can cost a considerable amount of cash, so be prepared. However, at heart these guys are the type who have a pure heart and a dream to become a hero for the lady. When you have a child, these guys will be good fathers who can explain moral sense and the difference between right and wrong.

Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno's career has deep ties with the works of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. Hideaki Anno worked as an animator for Studio Ghibli forerunner Topcraft on Miyazaki's Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Anno impressed the crew so much that Toshio Suzuki has said that there was talk of making the ecological epic a trilogy with Anno directing the middle feature.
Now, a new project is combining their shared Nausicaä history, passion for tokusatsu (special effects) media, and concern with nuclear energy.
From July 10 to October 8, Tokyo's Museum of Contemporary Art will be hosting "Hideaki Anno's Tokusatsu Museum," a look at miniatures, costumes, and tricks used in special effects shows and movies. Anno storyboard collaborator Shinji Higuchi will also be working with Studio Ghibli on the live-action short "God Warrior Attacks Tokyo," in which one of the giant beast living nuclear weapons that destroyed civilization in Nausicaä attacks the metropolis.

The official website for the Okinawan live-action tokusatsu (special effects) hero television show Ryujin Mabuyer has revealed that a manga adaptation of the series by Hideki Ohwada (Great Magical Gap, Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku) will begin i Kadokawa's Newtype Ace magazine on June 8.
The original series, which began in 2008, tells the story of Kanai, an Okinawan man who fights as the hero Ryujin Mabuyer. Kanai fights again the "Evil Corps," a group who attempts to steal the Mabui Stones, legendary stones that protect Okinawan culture.
