Rocketeer Adventures 2 #2 - love the design but not as much as...
Dominique Laveau, Voodoo Child #2 - Winner
Incredible Hulk #7 - nice drawing but it's another (yawn) movie cover and it's a variant
Thunderbolts #173 - Fun image, but watch that hand Helmet!
John Carter: The Gods Of Mars #2 - 2nd place, a cover that actually tells a story!
New Mutants #41 - a jumbled mess

How did it make it to the poll? I nominated something better, right?

because as per the rules, if there aren't 6 covers that get seconded whatever was nominated first gets on the poll, and i nominated it before you nominated anything..

i personally liked it, cause it actually does a good job of depicting what the story in the comic is, and i thought it was a fun cover...

What Erik said. When the poll is compiled preference is given to covers that are seconded or thirded, and after that it depends on chronological order of nomination.

I know, I was only kidding.
Besides, probably my cover wasn't that good to begin with.
