I saw a trailer for Season 2 on the DC Nation Facebook page, couldn't figure out how to embed it year though. The new trailer has some awesome new footage in it especially the first shot of a long awaited character to the DCU animated universe: Wondergirl

Holy Jeebus!!! Young Justice was so good today! That was some of the best 30 minutes of any cartoon I have ever watched. All the stuff about Roy was so tragic, and did you guys notice that when they showed that shot at the end that the real Roy only had one arm!!?? The fights between most of Teens and League were great but when it got down to Superboy vs Superman and Robin vs Batman....That was just mindblowingly awesome!!!! Seeing all the kids "hooking up" at the stroke of midnight was a nice little touch too. I am glad that Superman stopped being a dick to Superboy as well, I hope to see more interaction between the two of them and have that relationship grow. Finding out with the "6" did in their 16 hours away should be very interesting as well, as you know it was something really bad. The one thing I would have liked to have seen is when Aqualad got the other Atlanteans to make the cure for the Starro Tech instead of him just telling everyone thats what happened. All said and done though, Season One of Young Justice is one of the best first seasons of any show I have had the pleasure of watching.

Green Lantern had another really solid episode today as well. Loving the introduction of the "yellow fear causing crystals"! That's definitely gonna come back to bite the lanterns in the ass one day! Hal Jordan is so much more likeable on this cartoon than he is in the comics, but that can be said for most all of the characters in these new cartoons. Razor is really starting to grow on me now, as I really think he does hate being a Red Lantern, and wants to really redeem himself. This show like I say every other week just keeps getting better!

The New Teen Titans short is by far and away my favorite of any of the shorts yet! Showing the 90's, 80's, 70's, and 60's versions of the TT's and their reactions to their looks was priceless! I really miss the old Teen Titans cartoons and these shorts just prove why every time we get one, that show was excellent! The Plastic Man short wasn't as good as some of his others, but I still got a little laugh out of it. It was cool to see some of the Cosplayers from Wondercon too, I really wish I could make an awesome costume to dress up in sometime!

Yeah, today's YJ was pretty f'ing cool ! They really pulled out the stops for this show since it started ! 8)
And one thing to note: I noticed that next week's ep wasn't set to record on my DVR. After I did a manual search, it showed "Young Justice: Invasion" as a separate show listing. I'm guessing because of how the title displays. This might just be a DirecTV f*ck up but you guys may want to double-check your listings/recordings to be sure you don't miss it !

At this point, they're basically turning into (Young) Justice Society...

Young Justice was good. It bothered me how easily they overtook the Justice League but I think that may have been my inner fanboy referencing decades of DC comics which should have no baring in the cartoon so I tried to put it aside. I thought we were going to learn that Roy being a brain washed clone was just one more mind fuck penetrated by Vandal Savage. But then we saw the real Roy in the tube and now I'm wondering what's going to happen to NuRoy. After all they can't have two Roys running around forever. And holy shit! Roy lost his arm?? Daaaaamn!!

And who the fuck is the black chick that makes forcefields and where the fuck did she come from? She just sort of showed up last episode and started spouting lame white washed ebonics. Did Young Justice just get it's own Poochie?

Green Lantern was okay. Kinda predictable but the opening seen with Kilowog showing disgust at the content of a grilled cheese sandwich while gleefully eating glaze covered spider made me laugh.

Also, not enough Razer. Boo! Hiss! More Razer!

Rocket is a Milestone character, the sidekick of Icon. In the comics, she basically started out as a sort of hoodrat stereotype, at least on the surface. She had made a lot of mistakes before Icon came along. But she had this down-to-earth practicality that kept Icon grounded. His morality in turn kept her always striving for something greater.

It does neither character any justice to just introduce them out of the blue, even though they've made mention of Icon. Rocket ended up being one of the better characters Milestone produced. It would be great to see some backstory shown for both Rocket and Icon.

So she generates forcefields but her name's "rocket"?

And couldn't they have done a better job of introducing her? It seems like she just pops up and everyone acts lke she's been there all along. She's friggin' Larry from Pinky and the Brain.

Rocket is in Young Justice? I just found another reason to check out this show as I grew up on Milestone in the 90's.

I do agree that her personality is so annoying but on the on the flipside, her and Aqualad would make a very cute couple.

I'm guessing she's named Rocket because she can manipulate kinetic energy...
