Guy seems like an overall unlikable person. It's not necessarily a bad thing, I've read and watched lots of stories with that sort of protagonist. With this story it's hard to say whether it's a good thing or a bad thing.

Overall, I'd say this issue wasn't bad. I don't think its my thing in the end, the art style is a type I usually don't like and it takes a really good story for me to get past that. It's interesting enough I guess, but I can't say that I'm anywhere near interested in reading the next issue.

This will get a 5 out of 10 from me.

I think writing a character who starts at a point of unhappiness is kind of the point. Whether you liked the Guy character or not, and I don't think the goal of this issue is to make you like him, I don't really think the character depicts someone who is "unlikable". Although there's certainly an argument to be made that Guy is unliked.

Now you can go back to your brightly colored latent homosexuals in pajamas.

Well, yeah, I'm not stupid, I did kind of understand that. Whether or not he's unlikable isn't really the defining factor when it comes to why I didn't really like it. In the end, I found the story itself to be a little on the boring side.
