Driving these advertising trucks






The job was driving around so people could see the truck. Occasionally I would have to train new drivers for the company or give people free stuff like T-Shirts, beach balls, or Nurf boomerangs. Other than that, that was it. I got to cruse around listening to music and play my PSP or read comic books when ever I had a gig that required me to have the truck parked for any decent length of time. That was all fine with my boss because as long as the advertisements were in front of people's eyes we were doing the job

Then a girl took her eyes off the road for less then five seconds, slammed into me in my personal car at 50mph while I was at a dead stop and it was all over. Now I can't sit for any length of time without ever increasing pain building up in my back. Killed the ability to do the 11 hour shifts the job required. Company went out of business a few months after my accident.

Holy crap.

I'm sorry to hear about all of that.
